The Place Shalom Sanctuary
As women we are always open for attack. On a cold Saturday afternoon, hungry, tired and destitute, walking and praying trusting God for a miracle, looking for a place to stay for myself and my daughter. Trusting God and walking by faith, I found a place to stay at Shalom Sanctuary. I have learned is that one should always be covered with prayer, seeking the face of the Lord. I have learned not lean onto my own understanding ,but on God. Shalom Sanctuary was the place where I asked The Almighty to enlarge my territory, to minister to broken women.
I must say I found salvation at this place, Freda Crowie has taught me how to pray, not only for myself ,but for others as well. I grew stronger in grace and wiser in the wisdom of God . My little girl was taught to say confessions ,even today she still says them. This is not any place ,but a special place. This place has changed me, I have learned to appreciate and to love others, to laugh and cry, whether it was tears of joy or sadness.
I will always be grateful to Shalom and I would advise women to go to Shalom Sanctuary.
Today I am independent, a women that knows she must go to church, a mummy that knows to prepare supper for her kids, a mummy that knows to stick with her children, no matter what the circumstances.
